We’re dedicated to reducing our operations-driven emissions and supporting cleaner energy efforts throughout the region. As part of our goal to educate customers and make a positive impact on the planet, we are joining hundreds of thousands of participants around the world in recognizing Earth Hour on Saturday, March 23, 2024. From 8:30-9:30 p.m., we will power down the iconic LED Crown Lights system atop our Philadelphia headquarters as a symbolic “lights off” in support of doing something positive for the planet.
This movement supports our Path to Clean commitment, leading the region’s transition to a cleaner energy future. We encourage our customers to join us in this effort by turning off their lights to support the planet.
Through our Path to Clean commitment, we support our customers in their efforts to reduce emissions through access to cleaner energy solutions. We have numerous programs in place to help our customers transition to cleaner energy solutions, including energy efficiency rebates and incentives.
Started in 2007 by the World Wildlife Foundation and partners as a symbolic lights-out event in Sydney to raise awareness of global climate change, Earth Hour is now one of the world’s largest grassroots movements for the environment. Held every year on the last Saturday of March, Earth Hour engages over 400,000 supporters in more than 190 countries and territories, all taking action to ensure a brighter future for people and the planet.
