We are committed to negotiating in good faith with IBEW Local 614 and reaching a fair and equitable agreement that supports our employees while maintaining affordability and reliability for our customers. We look forward to continuing discussions and remain ready to meet at any time, including nights and weekends, to advance negotiations.

We have presented a strong, market-competitive proposal that directly addresses the union’s priorities, including nearly 22% wage increases for field employees, 16% increases for care center employees, a cash balance pension plan, and a retirement medical savings account. We also continue to encourage the use of the assigned federal mediator to help facilitate productive discussions and move negotiations forward.

We are prepared to safely and reliably serve our customers and communities. As an essential service provider, we have comprehensive contingency plans in place, including trained personnel and additional resources, to ensure electric and natural gas service continues without interruption.

We have conducted extensive preparedness planning and training to maintain our ability to respond to outages, emergencies, and customer needs. Similar to how we prepare for major storms and other unforeseen events, our teams are ready to respond quickly and safely to protect public safety and restore service as needed.

We’re committed to keeping the lights on and natural gas flowing for the communities we serve, and we will continue to coordinate closely with local leaders and emergency response partners to ensure timely communication and support.
